Trying to conceive can be very stressfully on a relationship and can take the fun out of sexual intercourse. It is very important to be aware of your menstrual cycle if you would like to time intercourse. Most women with a regular 28 days menstrual cycle ovulate about day 14 of their menstrual cycle, start counting the day of your period as day one of your menstrual cycle. To pin point your fertile days, we also suggest you use ovulation test strips or Ovulation predictor kit (OPK), which is one of the core essentials of theLem Box. All our boxes contain OPK. Ovulation is the released of the egg. Only one egg is released when you ovulate and the egg can only survive for 12 to 24 hours if it is not fertilized. It is also important to note that the sperm can survive for up to 5 days. With that being said, I know you have some questions:
When to have sex
Q: Since sex can be so stressful, how often should we havesex?
A: The general recommendation is that couples trying to conceive should have sex at least every other day. This will keep your partner`s sperm healthy and increase sperm count by promoting sperm production. Staying longer without intercourse may actually reduce sperm count.
Vagina dryness when Trying To Conceive
Vagina dryness is a common compliant with women who are trying to conceive. Cervical mucus helps the sperm survive and swim to the fallopian tubes. Lack or decrease in cervical fluid can cause painful intercourse, dissatisfaction, and stress to the couple. Lubricants wouldn’t completely take the place of quality cervical fluid but using a sperm – friendly lubricant would make intercourse more comfortable and the sperm motile.Get the Lem Advanced Box or the Lem Advanced plus box.
Sex position for easy conception
There are really no wrong sexual positions for baby making but most experts still recommend the man-on-top or the missionary position due to gravity. This position allows for the sperm to be deposited close or around the cervix. It is also advised to put a pillow underneath your buttocks for atleast 10 – 20 minutes to allow the sperm to pool to the cervix.
